Wolves, Reflections on CoexistenceThis is my degree project for my third and final year studying Marine and Natural History Photography at Falmouth University. The project is split in two, 'Predators, Portraits of the Missing Link in the British Landscape' acts as a prequel, with this project being my main body of work. After successfully presenting the large predator species of Europe, this project takes a deeper look into the wolf in particular. This project provides a deeper insight into their behaviour and unique personalities as well as their importance in the ecosystem and the relation between wolves and us humans, with the aim of encouraging a more peaceful coexistence.

Predators, Portraits of the Missing Link in the British LandscapeThis project acts as a prequel to my main degree project 'Wolves, Reflections on Coexistence'. Not that long ago, Britain was home to all four of the large European predator species; brown bear, wolf, lynx, and wolverine. But through excessive hunting, all these species have gone extinct, causing imbalance in the ecosystem and an overpopulation of various deer species. This project is a visual presentation of these predators, along with some of the most common prey species within the cervidae family.
